was born and brought up in North Somerset and qualified as a dentist from the University of Wales in 1983. After working for a couple of years in the hospital dental service doing oral surgery and treating facial injuries he entered general dental practice working for “Bates & Thomas” at their Yatton & Backwell practices. He became practice owner and principal dentist of the Yatton Dental Practice in 1996 where he has worked ever since. David has been married to Lorna for 35 years and they have 2 daughters and three grandchildren who occupy a fair bit of his time. When he can, he enjoys all sorts of sports, he regularly skis and enjoys fishing.
